Steve grew up on a farm in South East Saskatchewan. Blessed with a strong heritage of faith, he soon learned to treasure God’s gifts of family, laughter, and service to others. Steve and his wife Rebecca served God with the Yellowknife Church of Christ for 11 years and in 2005 he became the Senior Minister at the Oak Park Church of Christ in Calgary, Alberta. He has an undergraduate degree in Bible, an M.A. in religion and a M.Div. from Canadian Theological Seminary. He is an avid reader whose hobbies include computers, guitar-playing and as much hockey and squash as possible! Steve is passionate about helping people see how God is at work in their lives and has given his life to communicating the message of the cross.   He continues to be amazed that God loves him, that Rebecca loves him, and that he has been given such fantastic children - son Aiden and daughters Sydney and Mareesa.
